Active Canadian Emergency Training
Inc. was founded in 1992. With a
head office in Waterloo, Ontario and
regional offices throughout Canada,
we are able to meet the demands of a
growing number of public and private
sector clients. In 2000 Active
Canadian joined with WMC
Occupational Health Services.
Together we offer our more than
3,000 clients a broad range of
health care services including the
company doctor program, occupational
medical clinics and the country's
largest mobile hearing testing
program.
This growing Canadian company was
developed with three basic goals:
-
Offer the best emergency training
available anywhere
-
Customize courses and programs to
fit the needs of participants, in
the context where they work and
live
-
Employ emergency services
professionals to deliver the
training, including paramedics,
police, and firefighters.
Our goal is to train people to be
able to respond with life-saving
intervention skills before the 911
emergency crews arrive.
That was the philosophy that got
Active Canadian started, but we're
not just about training anymore.
Our new Emergency Preparedness
division is designed to support
organizations as they create a
micro-911 system so that they
can respond while waiting for
outside 911 agencies in an emergency
and be prepared to assist
professionals on the scene.
Through our consultants, Advisory
Team and strategic partners we will
can use our Emergency Response
ProgramsTM and ER-SolutionTM
to help create and implement
better emergency response
capabilities.
