What does it mean when we customize a course?

First Active Canadian conducts a site assessment to understand what unique systems and processes are so that we customize courses to address current state of preparedness is.  From the site assessment, we discuss with you how a course can be tailored to the context your employees are working in. Active Canadian is able to develop a course that responds to an organization's risks.

For example, in an industry where chemical use is prevalent, course content will highlight chemical related injuries. For a manufacturing operation, course topics will emphasize equipment-related injuries.  Course topics for a private security company or police service will address ballistics injury response. 

We can do this better than anyone else because we have experience, professional paramedics on staff, as well as delivering the courses. 

Active Canadian Emergency Training Inc. has developed The Approach^TM to emergency patient care.  The Approach^TM is a systematic, logical and sequential method of assessing and treating a patient in a medical emergency.  The Approach^TM has been taught to hundreds of people across the country and has given rescuers tremendous confidence by simplifying the steps involved in managing an emergency.
